Calculator
Use the following to calculate your home’s wattage and battery life.
Estimated Runtime Inputs
Runtime uses 85% usable capacity as a conservative default (inverter / system losses and leaving a buffer). Actual runtime varies with load duty cycle, temperature, and battery health.
Select what you plan to run
Check appliances and adjust quantity. Figures are typical estimates — actual draw varies by model and condition.
| Select | Appliance | Qty | Running (W) | Surge (W) |
|---|
Tip: only select loads you expect to run at the same time. Motors and compressors drive surge sizing; continuous loads drive runtime.
Surge method:
concurrent running of all selected loads, plus the extra startup of the single highest-surge selected appliance — max surge = Σ(qty × running) − (qty × running of highest-surge item) + (qty × surge of that item).
Runtime:
hours ≈ (battery Wh × 85% usable) ÷ total running watts.
Surge is brief; runtime uses running watts only.
